DESCRIPTION

The XP SENSE WF rat-tail from Loomis&Franklin makes it much easier to present your fly at longer distances. This is due to the weight concentrated in the front area (WF - weight forward) and the super smooth surface of this tail, which minimises friction between the rod rings and the tail itself, so that the tail can slide cleanly through the rings. This means that you can achieve long casting distances without much effort, even against the wind. To enable a delicate presentation of the fly, the head has been lengthened and its taper well graduated so that it can be laid gently. Dry flies, nymphs and streamers can be presented equally well with this tail. The coating of this floating rat-tail is extremely light and therefore guarantees excellent buoyancy.

The head and running line of the XP SENSE WF are also separated by two different colours. This means that you can immediately tell when the entire head, and thus most of the weight of the tail, is beyond the tip ring. On the one hand, you can thus load your fly rod optimally, and on the other hand, only the thin running line has to slide through the rings. This allows you to make long casts without many annoying false casts.

The XP SENSE WF is 30.5 m long and has two loops welded to both ends, so that the terminal and backing can be connected quickly and easily. This WF floating tail is available in classes 3, 4, 5 and 6. The classes are also printed directly on the mouse tail for quick identification.

Thanks to its excellent casting characteristics, the XP SENSE WF is particularly suitable for beginners in the wonderful world of fly fishing.
