The reels benefit from open or closed frame designs, depending on size. Open frame where weight reduction and quick reel changes are essential and a closed frame is used on the 5000 EN models where fine tails or specialised euro nymph tails can be used. For over 150 years Hardy has been at the forefront of reel design and this latest addition is built to the same exacting standards and passion for innovation.
