After a year of studies and rigorous testing, the new Fly Tiers World rods are born!

This series of rods designed for dry-fishing was studied by the great master Fosco Torrini.

Fosco wanted the S.G.S. Centauro 8'0″# 3/4 to be a multi-purpose rod suitable for technical casting but also excellent for fishing. The name recalls his legendary rods of many years ago and Fosco's desire to return to the market prompted us to create these new rods!

The action of the 8'0″ is fast with an excellent reserve of heel power. Like its larger 10′ sisters, it is painted matt bronze to avoid those annoying 'flashes' that on sunny days reflect in the water and disturb the fishing action and, consequently, the fish.

The performance is also excellent if you want to use it with the # 4. Reel holder in briarwood and REG-OIL rings, the most important manufacturer of fly rod components in the USA, the reel holder also in titanium and briarwood perfectly balances the rod and even the cork is of the highest AAA quality.

The barrel comes with an elegant tube with anodised aluminium cap, handle and carrying strap to match the barrel colour.
